How to Open Network Connection List in Windows 7

Windows 7 makes it harder to view all network connections. Unlike Windows XP, you can just go to Control Panel and open Network Connections. You have to go into deeper steps in Windows 7 to view the network connection list. Personally, I prefer the Windows XP’s network folder and connection, it’s much easier to configure and troubleshoot network problems.

There are different ways to open Network Connection List in Windows 7, to view the Network Folder in Windows 7, follow these instructions.

Method 1:

Go to Control Panel and open View Network Status and Tasks.

Click Change Adapter Settings on the left pane.

Method 2:

Go to Start menu, and type in ncpa.cpl in the search box.

This is the quickest way to open Network Connection List if you remember the shortcut command.
