Tools removing Google redirect virus:

1. Hitman Pro 3.5

Hitman Pro is a second opinion scanner, designed to rescue your computer from malware that have infected your computer despite all the security measures you have taken (such as anti virus software, firewalls).

2. Combofix

ComboFix is a program, created by sUBs, that scans your computer for known malware, and when found, attempts to clean these infections automatically. In addition to being able to remove a large amount of the most common and current malware, ComboFix also displays a report that can be used by trained helpers to remove malware that is not automatically removed by the program.

3. TDSSkiller

The utility can detect two object types:

  • malicious (the malware has been identified);
  • suspicious (the malware cannot be identified).

When the scan is over, the utility outputs a list of detected objects with description.The utility automatically selects an action (Cure or Delete) for malicious objects.The utility prompts the user to select an action to apply to suspicious objects (Skip, by default).

4. Hosts file

Click START > RUN > and type in "C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts"

(2) When prompted, open the HOSTS file in either Notepad

(3) Delete all the lines of IP addresses in the text document except for "127.0.0.1 localhost".
