How to install HP LaserJet Pro CP1525 Color Printer

My Canon inkjet printer finally dies. Since I also sell on eBay, I need a printer to print labels. I did some research online and found out that the HP LaserJet Pro CP1525 is pretty much what I need. I am tired of inkjet printers now because the inks are so expensive and the inks dry out so fast. I went over to Staples and bought it right away.

The HP LaserJet Pro CP1525 is not bad for home user, it comes with a USB cable, has network and wireless  abilities. It has four color toner cartridges which is easy to replace when each one is running out.

This article is for wired network install, you will need a network cable and a router. To continue to install HP LaserJet Pro CP1525 Color Printer, follow these instructions.

1. Plug the network cable from the printer to the router.

2. Insert the CD and run the setup.

3. Click the box for the agreement.

4. On the next screen, don’t click too fast, you will see near the bottom that says more install options. Click on it, this will let you install the printer driver only instead of bunch of HP printer care programs.

5. The next screen will ask you if the printer is hooked up as local USB, wired network or wireless. I choose wired network.

6. Let the program to detect the printer in the network for you, it will do a scan and show you what it has found.

7. Once the printer is found, click Ok or next to install the driver.
