How to fix missing Browse Option in Windows Search

ISSUE

The Browse option is missing when using Windows Search applet. The only way to limit a search to specific folders is to manually enter the folder address.

CAUSE

This symptom results from altering the Windows-designated drive letter assignments using Windows XP's Disk Management tool.

SOLUTION

1. Click on the drop down menu in "Look in"

2. Just Press Enter.
