Sometimes the top right then sometimes the bottom left. Tried the BIOS and drivers, no luck at all. In the end I removed the keyboard (see Dell site for instructions) enough to see the small 4 wire tape coming from the rubber trackstick. Flick up the catch and pull the cable free of the motherboard. Put sellotape over the exposed end of the cable, reassemble and works perfectly.
